Our Services
Fuel Load Reduction
We use goats and sheep to target high fire risk areas around buildings, parks, and roads. The natural abilities of these animals provides fire-breaks and reduces ladder fuels. All while improving soil and reducing the use of gas powered equipment.
Invasive Species Mitigation
Our grazing animals will target invasive and problematic weeds, promoting healthier ecosystems and reducing the need for chemical herbicides. Goats are specially adapted to browse and graze on plants with high levels of tannins and toxins that most animals avoid. Their specialized stomachs also destroy seeds as they digest, preventing the spread of harmful plant species.
Soil Restoration & Erosion Control
As a result of our management style we are able to put carbon back into the ground and encourage different plant species. By moving goats and sheep more often we are able to condense and control their cumulative effects on the ground. This allows for a more even distribution of hoof disturbance and manure. We can even use the shape of our paddocks to encourage “softening” of eroded areas.
